FJ12784 was seen on the 4 December 2017 at Beauguillot Nature Reserve, close to the site of the allied invasion at Utah Beach Normandy, the reclaimed land of Veys Bay is a highly important wetland that provides sanctuary for thousands of waders and ducks, many seals also pass the winter in the bay. The terrestrial part of Beauguillot Nature Reserve contains many rare or protected plant species such as the marsh orchid, the loose-flowered orchid and even the excitingly-named adder’s tongue!
